Working as a Nurse
Nursing and health services employ nurses that provide services to patients independently or in institutions. The ages vary between young children to adults. The well-known tasks required in the medical field include support to patients in all aspects of daily life, for example, with feeding, dressing, bathing and other tasks related to personal hygiene. Nurses serve as points of contact between the patient and its friends or relatives. Nurses must show planning skills and expertise when it comes to medical processes. They must document the implementation of a specific treatment and assess the success of applied measures. The recovery of the patient happens after there is collaboration between a doctor and the nurse/s. Nurses are typically considered the connection between doctors, therapists, families and patients and they maintain informative reports on the results of medical treatment. They assist doctors in the implementation of efficient measures and offer medical services to patients. They offer organizational and planning skills, coordinate appointments with other sectors and staff from various divisions, attend meetings and consultations, as well as provide advice for families on how to continue the medication for a patient that is released from hospital.
